If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions or the Privacy Policy, you may not use our website or services.
1. Intellectual Property
All content on the Sparrow Studios website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, designs, layouts, and other creative works, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, display, or republish any of our content without prior written consent from Sparrow Studios.
2. Use of Website
2.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Upload or transmit malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.

3. Services, Inquiries, Booking, and Payments
3.1 Photography Services by Inquiry Only
Sparrow Studios photography services are currently offered on an inquiry-only basis. We are not offering open public self-booking for photography sessions through the website.
Submitting a photography inquiry does not guarantee availability, acceptance, pricing, or booking. Sparrow Studios may accept or decline photography inquiries at its discretion based on availability, project scope, location, timing, creative fit, and business considerations.
Photography inquiries may include, but are not limited to:
- Commercial photography and business branding projects.
- Dance photography and performance-related projects.
- Selective events, creative projects, or custom photography requests.
3.2 Photography Proposals and Booking Requirements
If Sparrow Studios is available and interested in a submitted photography inquiry, we may provide a custom proposal, quote, agreement, invoice, or booking instructions. A photography project is not considered booked until all required items are completed, which may include written confirmation, signed agreement, deposit, retainer, or full payment.
Photography pricing, deliverables, licensing, turnaround times, usage rights, travel fees, and availability are determined by project scope and will be outlined in the applicable proposal or agreement.
3.3 Salon Services and Other Bookable Services
Some salon services, classes, or other non-photography services may remain available through online booking tools. Availability shown online is subject to change.
For services that remain available for online booking:
- A fee, deposit, or full payment may be required to reserve an appointment.
- Appointment confirmations and reminders may be sent by email and/or SMS.
- Clients are responsible for reviewing appointment details and arriving on time.
3.4 Payment Processing
We may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe or other payment platforms, to process payments securely. By purchasing services or products, you agree to comply with the applicable payment processor’s terms and policies.
3.5 Communications & Notifications
By submitting an inquiry, booking a service, registering for a class, or purchasing from Sparrow Studios, you consent to receiving necessary communications by email, phone, or text message. These may include inquiry responses, appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices, proposals, project updates, gallery delivery information, and follow-up messages.
- Clients may opt out of promotional messages where applicable.
- Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent when necessary to complete requested services.
- Standard messaging and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan.
- Sparrow Studios is not responsible for missed appointments, expired offers, or missed communications due to failure to check email, phone, text messages, spam folders, or booking notifications.
3.6 Educational Classes & Workshops
Sparrow Studios may offer educational classes and workshops, including but not limited to hair styling, braiding instruction, creative instruction, or related learning opportunities.
All class bookings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Due to limited capacity and preparation required, no refunds will be issued for missed, canceled, or partially attended classes.
Participants may request to reschedule a class with at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice prior to the scheduled start time. Requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of payment.
Sparrow Studios does not guarantee mastery of skills or specific outcomes from class participation. Skill development varies by individual and may require additional practice or instruction.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
4.1 Photography Projects
Photography cancellation, rescheduling, retainer, and refund terms will be outlined in the applicable proposal, invoice, or written agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, retainers or deposits paid to reserve photography project dates may be non-refundable.
4.2 Salon Services and Bookable Appointments
To reschedule or cancel a salon service or other bookable appointment, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled time.
4.3 Deposit or Fee Forfeiture
Failure to provide the required notice may result in forfeiture of your session fee, appointment fee, deposit, retainer, or payment, depending on the service booked.
4.4 Unforeseen Incidents
In case of camera failure, inclement weather, illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, location restrictions, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents a scheduled shoot or service, Sparrow Studios may arrange a new date, adjust the project plan, or provide another reasonable remedy at its discretion.
4.5 Digital Images and Downloads
No refunds are issued for delivered digital photo downloads, edited images, or creative files due to personal preference changes. In the event of a verified technical issue, such as a corrupted file, Sparrow Studios will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternate delivery method or corrected file.
4.6 Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally make a duplicate purchase, please contact us with details. Once approved, we will refund the duplicate charge to the original payment method. It may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account.
5. Liability Disclaimer
5.1 Limitation of Liability
Sparrow Studios is not liable for damages, losses, claims, or liabilities arising from the use of our website, services, products, locations, booking tools, third-party platforms, or communications, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury.
- Property damage.
- Lost business opportunities.
- Unforeseen circumstances during sessions, appointments, classes, or events.
- Technical issues related to photography, booking systems, payment processors, galleries, downloads, web design, or third-party tools.
5.2 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and assume all risks associated with services provided by Sparrow Studios, including photography sessions, on-location projects, salon services, classes, and creative services.
Educational classes are instructional in nature. Sparrow Studios does not guarantee specific results, skill levels, or outcomes from participation in any class or workshop.
6. Web Design Services
6.1 Customized Services
Web design services are tailored to each client’s needs. Costs, scope, timeline, hosting, maintenance, content, deliverables, and revision terms are agreed upon separately based on the client’s requirements.
6.2 Consultation
We may offer a consultation for web design to understand your needs and provide an estimated quote. A consultation does not create an obligation for either party to proceed.
7. Copyright, Licensing, and Usage
7.1 Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Sparrow Studios retains all copyrights to photographs, recordings, designs, and creative works produced by Sparrow Studios.
7.2 Personal Use
Where a personal print release is provided, clients may reproduce images for personal use only, such as printing, emailing, personal web publishing, or sharing with friends and family. This permission applies worldwide unless otherwise restricted in writing.
7.3 Commercial and Editorial Use
No commercial, editorial, advertising, promotional, resale, stock photography, publication, or revenue-generating use is allowed without explicit written consent or a commercial license from Sparrow Studios.
Commercial photography projects will include licensing terms based on the project scope and intended usage.
7.4 Social Media
When posting Sparrow Studios images on social media, you may not alter them in any way, including adding filters, heavy edits, AI alterations, or other modifications, unless written permission is granted.
8. Promotional Use
8.1 Marketing
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, by participating in a photography session or project, you grant Sparrow Studios the right to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, competition, display, or promotional purposes.
8.2 Privacy-Sensitive or Commercial Projects
For commercial, private, sensitive, confidential, or restricted-use projects, promotional usage terms may be modified by written agreement.
8.3 Inspection Waiver
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you waive any right to inspect or approve the promotional use of images.
9. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The revised terms will be effective upon posting on our website.
